A love letter to the golden age of Light Gun shooters.

TIME RANGER is a throwback to on-rails lightgun classics like Time Crisis and House of the Dead. Built from the ground up for VR. Every level drops you into a new time-warped world with fast-paced shootouts and boss fights!

• Arcade Action - Dual wield pistols and experience the thrill of classic light gun gameplay, reimagined for VR.
• Western Biome with a twist! - Blast through waves of Cowboys in a Western town ruled over by a Sheriff corrupted by a mysterious advanced power.
• Time is Broken - You'll see how twisted and warped time has become and how the sheriff can control it, and why you need to stop him!
• Sheriff Boss Fight - Reach the end of the level and battle the Sheriff in a time warped showdown.

The Vision

We're aspiring to build something unique where every level feels different, and is set in a completely different time period, yet has an exciting narrative framework that carries through it all.

• Time-Twisting Biomes - Battle cowboys, samurai, zombies, ghosts, vikings and more, to save a fractured timeline!
• Pick Up & Play - No complicated controls. Just point, shoot and dodge. Easy to learn,  satisfying to master.
• Accessible Action! - Clean and accessible fun, play it your way! Dual wield or one pistol, infinite ammo or reloading, it's up to you.

Who are we? 

We're just two devs who got caught in the recent brutal industry layoffs. We've come together and put everything into bringing this passion project to life.

Early Access lets us share TIME RANGER get critical feedback as early as possible, build a community and shape the game around you, the fans. With your feedback, we want to make this the best experience it can be!

Dev Notes: Known Issues

• We know the lighting sucks, we'll get to that.
• Sound might disable / lower when you arrive in the main menu - for now you can use the Main Menu sliders to increase it again
• We've only been able to test this on Quest devices, so please let us know how it runs on anything else, we've used Open XR, so here's hoping its fine!
